A Localic Version of Shirota's Theorem
by

The different notions of realcompactness for frames and the fact that completions of frames behave differently to their spatial counterparts make the idea of a localic Shirota's Theorem an interesting one. We show that a uniform frame is complete in its separable fine uniformity precisely when it is Lindelöf. Various other results of Shirota's will be explored in this context. Using Shirota's Theorem, we show that the completion of a Lindelöf uniform frame is Lindelöf, and then this result allows for a straightforward description of the completion of a uniform
