On Quasiuniform Hyperspaces of Closed Compact Subsets

Let (X, U) be a quasiuniform space, K(X) be the family of all closed and compact subsets of (X, U). In this paper, the notion of compact symmetry for (X, U) is introduced. Some sufficient conditions under which the topology of hyper-quasiuniformity coincides with the Vietoris topology on K(X) are provided and the completeness of the quasiuniform hyperspace of closed and compact subsets of a quasiuniform space is discussed.
