Recent advances and problems in Cp-theory

We are going to concentrate on two important lines of investigation in Cp-theory. The first one is the study of the spaces Cp(X) and their categorical properties with the emphasis on better conduct of Cp(X) than of general Tychonoff spaces. The topic is still a source of many difficult problems as well as a witness of remarkable progress in the last three years. Applications and interactions of this part of Cp-theory with Functional Analysis will be presented.
Another area of strong activity among the workers in Cp-theory is the study of preservation of topological properties by some equivalence of function spaces. We present the recent advances and problems on the matter.
