Weak Monotone Orthobases
by

A weak monotone orthobase B for a space X is a base such that, for any monotone subcollection D of B, its intersection is open or D is a basis for any point in the intersection. A semi-metrizable space is developable iff it has such a basis. Examples show that such bases may fail to be bases of countable order or orthobases. Some questions are posed and others are answered.
