Embedding the Sorgenfrey line within itself
by
Justin Tatch Moore
University of Toronto
The Sorgenfrey line S is the topological space on the real line given by the basis B = {[a, b): a, b in R, a < b} \cup { \emptyset}. The focus of this talk will be the following theorem: A subset S is homeomorhic to S iff A has no isolated points and is both a G\delta and a F\sigma set with respect to the topology on S.
