Building Julia sets of polynomials

Dynamically interesting invariant compacta of the connected Julia sets of polynomials are associated with invariant minimal Cantor sets of external angles (prime ends) of the domain of attraction of infinity. We will discuss the nature of this association, and what it reveals about the topological structure of such Julia sets.
