A partner in conference-planning: the Topology Atlas
by
John J. Schommer
University of Tennessee at Martin
The Topology Atlas recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its service to the topology community. This conference in particular marks the one-year anniversary of the Atlas' efforts at posting conference abstracts on the web. But this conference is special for another reason as well - over 80used the web to submit their abstracts. With the handling of abstracts now almost entirely automated, the Abstract Section of the Atlas is poised to cover more than just a few major conferences and seminars.
This short talk will describe how abstracts are processed, and how the Atlas can assist future conference organizers in the production of their conference abstract booklets.
