Locally countably S-closed and locally rc-Lindeloef spaces
by
Maximilian Ganster
Department of Mathematics , Graz University of Technology, Austria

A topological space X is called countably S-closed [Dlaska Ergun Ganster] if every countable cover of X by regular closed sets has a finite subcover. The space X is said to be rc-Lindeloef [Jankovic Konstadilaki] if every cover of X by regular closed sets has a countable subcover. In our talk we will present recent results about locally countably S-closed and locally rc-Lindeloef spaces. In particular, we will discuss some relationships of these classes of spaces to certain forms of extremal disconnectedness. This talk covers joint work with J. Dontchev and Ch. Konstadilaki.
