Homogeneous Arcwise Connected Continua

This talk will describe some new results concerning cyclicly connected subsets of homogeneous arcwise connected continua not homeomorphic with S1 . A sample theorem: Let X be a homogeneous arcwise connected metric continuum which is not a simple closed curve. Then the complement of each point in X is cyclicly connected.
