An Extension of Hirota Bilinear Difference Equation

Hirota bilinear difference equation is extended to higher dimensional space and multilinear ones. Associated to the equation there exist a set of linear equations which admit a new scheme of Backlund transformation. Solving the linear equations we can generate infinitely many solutions to the original nonlinear equation.
