Nonlinear defects in 2D-crystals: Analytical description
by
V. V. Kiselyov
Ekaterinburg

New singular defect-like solutions of two-dimensional elliptic sine-Gordon equation have been found by the inverse scattering transform. Nonlinear defects are similar in topological properties to that described in the linear theory of elasticity: dislocations and disclinations dipoles, point defects, twin patches, cracks and so on.
