In 1980, Joseph and Kwack introduced the notion of (\theta, s)-continuous functions in order to investigate S-closed spaces due to Thompson. In this paper further properties of (\theta, s)-continuous functions are obtained and the relationships between (\theta, s)-continuity, contra-continuity (defined by J. Dontchev) and regular set-connectedness (defined by J. Dontchev, M. Ganster and I. Reilly) are investigated.
