Detecting Hilbert cube manifold structure in Q(n)-E

We shall present joint work with Sergei M. Ageev, the main result of which is that Q(n)-{E} is a Hilbert cube manifold, for every n >= 2. As a corollary we obtain nonhomogeneity of Q(2).
