The Fractal Nature of Riem/Diff

This talk will describe some ideas regarding the space of Riemannian metrics on an n-manifold, n>4, up to reparametrization. We will see that in some large scale sense, it has some of the same features of fractals.

If there is time, we will also discuss n=3, 4 and the space of unknots.
