We report on a search for the primes of the forms 2·3·...·p +/- 1 (the primorial primes) up to p=100000, and n! +/- 1 (the factorial primes) up to n=10000. We then do a heuristical analysis to suggest a possible distribution of primes of these forms and call into question the fact that we found only three new primes in these ranges.
