Baer-Krull theorems for the complex spectrum of a field

Let K be a field of characteristic zero. First, we show how to induce a point in the complex spectrum of the residue class field K bar of a valuation ring B of K, provided a point z in the complex spectrum of K is given which makes B z-convex . Then we show how to lift a point w in the complex spectrum of the residue class field K bar of B to a point z in the complex spectrum of K so that B is z-convex.
