A Class of Aspherical LOTs

The question whether ribbon-disk complements or, equivalently, standard 2-complexes over labeled-oriented-tree-presentations (LOTs) are aspherical is important in knot theorie and in the context of Whitehead's asphericity conjecture. We present a class of aspherical LOTs.
