Some results and problems about weakly pseudocompact spaces
by
Ángel Tamariz-Mascarúa
Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México

A space X is weakly pseudocompact if X is G\delta-densely embedded in a compact space. In this talk we will deal with the following interesting and nontrivial question: When is a locally weakly pseudocompact space weakly pseudocompact? We obtain some results in the realms of locally pseudocompact spaces, GLOTS, realcompact spaces and zero-dimensional spaces. This is joint work with Oleg Okunev, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
