Howe correspondence for discrete series

In this talk I will describe the first occurrence indices and structure of theta lifts of discrete series for the dual pair Sp(n)×O(V), over a non-archimedean local field of characteristic different from 2, in terms of the recent classification of discrete series due to Moeglin-Tadic. In the case of archimedean local fields similar results were obtained by Adams-Barbasch, Li, and Moeglin.
