A constructive approach to the conformal field theory in genus 1

Nowadays, genus 0 conformal field theory is a well-founded theory which has both algebraic and geometrical flavour. The seminal work of Y. Zhu on the genus 1 meromorphic conformal field theory is a step forward in understanding higher genus theories. We present an approach to the construction of the general (non-meromorphic) genus 1 conformal field theory based on certain examples.
