C*-embeddings

We prove a localic version of Urysohn's theorem characterizing C*-embedded subspaces. Here the analog of C*-embeddings, namely C*-extensible frame quotients, will be characterized using some frame concepts such as cozero elements and complete separation, as well as uniform density of appropriate l-groups.
