Spectral theory of noncommutative systems of operators
by
Brian Jefferies
The University of New South Wales, AUSTRALIA

The support of the Weyl functional calculus may be viewed as the 'spectrum' of a system of operators satisfying an exponential growth estimate. The talk explores the view of the spectrum of a system of operators as the set of singularities of the Cauchy kernel of a functional calculus associated with Clifford analysis. An application to symmetric hyperbolic systems is given.
