Measurable rigidity and disjointness for Zk actions by toral automorphisms.

We investigate joinings of irreducible totally non-symplectic Anosov Z k actions by toral automorphisms. In particular, we show that in the case of positive real eigenvalues two such actions are either conjugate over rationals or disjoint, i.e. admit no non-trivial joinings.
