Using prime closed filters yields a functorial compactification

For an arbitrary topological space, the space of all prime closed filters with the strict topology is a functorial compactification \lambdaX of X. The map X --> \lambdaX is an embedding only when X is a T0-space, but X --> \lambdaX delivers a natural transformation from the identity functor on Top to \lambda.
