Nondegenerate Symmetrical Structures in the k-Osculator Bundle

Motivated by concrete problems in variational calculation, higher order Lagrange geometry, based on the k-osculator bundle notion, has witnessed a wide acknowledgment due to the papers published by Radu Miron and Gheorghe Atanasiu. The applications of this theory in Mechanics and Phisics are considerable. In the present paper we introduce the notion of general metrical N-linear connection in the k-osculator bundle, we determine the set of all general metrical N-linear connections in various forms, we study the group of transformations of some special classes of general metrical N-linear connections.
The terminology and notations are essentially based by M. Matsumoto's book.
