A comparison of two sieves

In practice the DHR sieve has been mostly better, and never worse, than the Ankeny-Onishi sieve; but to demonstrate this theoretically has proved quite hard. We now can give such a demonstration for all sufficiently large sieve dimensions, and we present the sketch of the argument.
