Speed of Convergence of Classes of Sequences
by
Harry I. Miller
Department of Mathematics, University of Sarajevo and Univ. of TN - Chattanooga

It is elementary that given any convergent sequence there is another convergent sequence that converges more slowly than the given sequence. M. Bajraktarevic and H. Miller have written a series of articles on "rates of convergence". The current work, joint with J. Fridy and C. Orhan, involves statistical convergence.

A typical result: Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for there to exist a null sequence z that ``converges statistically slower'' than each null sequence x in a given class of null sequences.
