The finitistic dimension of tensor products of algebras

Let \Lambda and \Gamma be finite-dimensional k-algebras. Let findim \Lambda be the finitistic dimension of \Lambda. It is known that findim \Lambda \otimesk \Gamma = findim \Lambda + findim \Gamma, when k is a perfect field. This talk will show that the equality is valid for any field k.
