Excluded Minors for the Matroids of Branch-Width 3

Branch-width is a parameter for matroids that behaves much like tree-width for graphs. It is known that the excluded minors for the matroids of branch-width 2 are K4 and U2, 4. The talk will consider the problem of finding the excluded minors for the matroids of branch-width 3.
