Metamorphosis of designs with block size four: a survey and the final case

If G is a simple graph with subgraph G', a ``metamorphosis'' of a G-design of order n into a G'-design of order n is possible for certain n.

In the case when G is K4, all results to date will be surveyed, and a final case completed. This means that necessary and sufficient conditions are now known for the existence of a metamorphosis of a (lambda-fold) K4-design into a (lambda-fold) G'-design, for any subgraph G' of K4.
