van Kampen diagrams and E-unitary extensions

We examine a certain embedding problem for groups that have a presentation described by partial isomorphisms. The embedding problem is closely related to the system of partial isomorphisms, which is formalized by the concept of the inverse semigroup. A necessary and sufficient condition for a group to be embedded is obtained by geometric methods using van Kampen diagrams.
