Operations and - and on - relations

In the talk the interplay between operations and relations (e.g. via the preservation property) is discussed and the connection to several operations on relations is shown. Various ``clones of relations'' and the ``duality'' between completeness and rigidity are considered. Some joint results with F. Börner and V.I. Sushchanskij are reported, too.
