Generating t-distributions on spheres

The von Mises-Fisher distribution on the general dimensional sphere is generated by conditioning a multivariate normal distribution. Similarly, t-distributions on the sphere, should be so called, can be constructed by conditioning multivariate t-distributions in Euclidean space. The paper also provides some properties of t- and more generally Pearson type VII distributions on the sphere.
