A survey based on the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument Theory
by
Thomas Benesch
The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument(HBDI) is a thinking styles assessment tool which allows you to learn more about how your brain and mind function, and how you interact with other people and situations, why you are successful or satisfied at work and how to become more effective.
There are four distinct thinking styles. The HBDI assessment is designed specifically to chart out these different selves for you, so that you can better understand your strengths, your weaknesses, your likes, your dislikes - in short, your thinking preferences.
You have no doubt heard about left brain right brain, but whole brain thinking expands on that idea. Brain research shows four structures and HBDI assessments measure four distinct styles of thinking.
Current research shows that the human brain is highly specialized. The research from Herrmann International shows that there are an equal number of people in all four basic groups. The four quadrant whole brain model allows for more sophisticated combinations that measure both intellectual and emotional preferences which influence thinking styles and learning styles.
Here we present a survey done by a questionnaire made from the theory from the HBDI.
