Steenrod operations and Hochschild homology

In 1987, JDS Jones constructed a linear isomorphism between the cohomology of free loops space of a space X and the Hochschild homology of the singular cochain algebra of X. In collaboration with Bitjong N. (Univ. of Dschang - Cameroun) we have proved that for a large class of differential graded algebra A the Hochschild homology of A is a commutative graded algebra with algebraic Steenrood operation defined. Moreover, if A is the singular cochain algebra then the Jones isomorphism is a homomorphism of graded algebra which respects Steenrod operations.
