Multipliers of similitudes

Dieudonné proved that the multipliers of similitudes of an even-dimensional quadratic form are norms from the quadratic extension given by the discriminant. Extensions of this result to twisted forms of orthogonal or unitary groups are obtained by using Rost's invariant of torsors under simply connected classical groups.
