Some results on exponentiality in the category of approach spaces

In this note we show that compact Hausdorff topological objects are exponential within the category AP of Lowen's Approach Spaces. For this we depend upon the already known description quasi-topos hull of AP and a new numeric version of the Kuratowski-Mrowka theorem. We also discuss some applications to the construction of monoidal closed structures on AP.
