Estimation of non-Gaussian frontier production model: A Bayesian approach

The present paper considers the Bayesian analysis of a frontier production model with disturbances following an exponential distribution. The regression coefficients are assumed as independently distributed a priori with each coefficient having an exponential prior distribution. The prior distribution for disturbances' variance is assumed as an inverted gamma distribution. The expressions for the posterior distribution, Bayes estimator and posterior covariance matrix for the regression coefficients have been obtained.
