A continuum X has the RNT (Retractible onto Near Trees) property, provided that for every \epsilon > 0 there exists a \delta > 0 such that if T is a tree contained in X and the Hausdorff distance H(T, X) < \delta then there exists an \epsilon-retraction r from X onto T. Two examples of the compactification of the ray with remainder Pseudoarc will be shown; one with the RNT property and one without it.
