Topologies of open-cover type quasi-uniform convergence on homeomorphism groups

In 1998, it was shown that every topology of open-cover type quasi-uniform convergence on C(X, Y) is equivalent to a modified form of the Open-Cover topology introduced by McCoy in 1979. We show under what conditions that H(X) with a topology of open-cover type quasi-uniform convergence is a topological group.
