Galois connections and polynomial completeness
by
Kalle Kaarli
University of Tartu (Estonia)
In the first part of our talk we discuss general relationships between Galois connections and polynomial completeness, in particular how the reasoning in terms of Galois connections can be used for describing of (local) polynomial functions, for classifying and introducing new types of polynomial completeness properties, etc. In the second part we deal with endoprimality of algebras with majority term. In this situation the Galois connection between the subuniverses of A2 and the term functions of A helps to find, in a uniform way, the conditions for endoprimality of the members of the class ISP(A).
