Let K be the class of compact subsets of I=[0, 1] and let K* consist of the nonempty closed subsets of K. We study the map A:C(I, I) into K*, defined so that Cl(A(f)) is the closure of the collection of asymptotically stable sets of f. While the function A is clearly not necessarily continuous, we present conditions sufficient for A to be continuous.
