Applications of general topology in theoretical computation
by
Keye Martin
Oxford University

The notion of developability, the Choquet game and a metrization theorem due to Arhangelskii are among the ideas which have recently found application in domain theory. The speaker will discuss applications along this line, and then attempt to outline several open problems, for which members of the audience may find they are uniquely qualified to solve with little effort.
