On compactifications of bitopological spaces. A review of new results and some new developments.

Bitopological compactifications shall be reviewed in the light of considerations involving epireflective hulls. Recent developments concern compactifications of ordered topological spaces, as well as bitopological spaces arising from the Universal Ultrafilter Construction that appeared in Portugalia Mathematica, vol 57, Fasc 4, 2000.
