Low-level analysis of Affymetrix GeneChip data

The Affymetrix GeneChip technology provides a useful method of measuring gene expression. We will briefly discuss the GeneChip technology. We shall then consider issues involved in the analysis of the two basic units of a GeneChip, the Perfect match (PM) and Mismatch (MM), both within and between chips.
