by

The difinition of weakly primitive ring as a ring having faithfull critically compressible module was firstly introduced by J.Zelmanovitz. S.A. Amitsur described some properties of a ring with nonsingular uniform ideal using Morita context. In different papers was shown that, in fact, all these objects are closely connected. The main purpose of this work is to summarize basic results concerning this theme, to present some new ideas and to show relationship between theory of weakly primitive rings and classical theory of primitive rings (including minimal one-sided ideals).
