Pedigree Analysis of Multi-stratum Experiments

In animal breeding the use of pedigree information in the analysis is well-established and can be carried out using GenStat (ASREML). Pedigree information is also incorporated into the analysis of tree breeding trials where, typically, there is less depth of pedigree but greater complexity with blocking structures and strata in the experimental design. This talk addresses some aspects of the pedigree analysis of multi-stratum experiments using GenStat (ASREML).
