A theorem of existence and uniqueness of a stationary solution in the case of unidirectional solidification

In this paper we consider a nonlinear time-dependent boundary
value problem, which appears in [1] for an unidirectional
solidification processus of a binary alloy. Sufficient conditions
for the existence and uniqueness of the stationary solution of
this problem are presented.
