Stability of equilibria of a non-linear population dynamical model

Non-linear McKendrick type equation with age-dependent vital rates is considered. In a previous paper M.Farkas deduced a characteristic equation whose roots determine the stability of stationary solutions. In the present talk we are going to give conditions for the stability of the characteristic equation.
