Stability of compressible vortex sheets

The talk will review some aspects of the stability of vortex sheets solutions of the 2D compressible Euler equations. We shall focus on the failure of the uniform Lopatinskii condition, and on the losses of derivatives that occur in the energy estimate for the linearized problem. In the end, we shall address some possible future developments and a few open problems.
